• Who is Betty?
• While the founder, Andrea Miles, was living in Los Angeles she decided to start baking around 2002. As time passed, the interest in her baking grew. She decided that she didn't like the idea of using her own name for business. She knew Betty was a name that made people feel comfortable, so she created a character that was a mixture of Betty Crocker, June Cleaver and Bettie Page all rolled into one woman. After she moved back to Indiana, she was lucky enough to have her mother, aunt, and a good friend help her bring her dream to life. That is how the Bettys came to be!
• Is Sweet Bettys Bakery a franchise?
• No. The founder spent years creating a one-of-a-kind store that would be a wonderful representation of everything she loved.
• Where did you find all of the antiques and décor for the store?
• The antiques came from a variety of places such as yard sales, remodeled houses, and auctions. Some of the items belong to their family and the Bettys refurbished almost every item. There are some pieces in the store that are custom built creations.
• Are your baked goods available online?
• At this time, Grubhub is the only method available to have some of items ordered/delivered. We hope to add more options soon.
• Do you have a menu?
• Sweet Bettys does have a menu of the various items that are available for custom orders. The menu is available at our store or it can be viewed in our gallery. The founder’s Signature Cookies, French Macarons, Candies as well as our most popular Cupcake flavors are available daily. All of the other items on our menu are on a rotating schedule and are not available everyday. We make a little bit of everything, and custom orders are always welcomed.
• Do you make custom cakes? What kind do you make? How much are the cakes?

• We do make custom cakes. We love to make unique and interesting cakes, and they come in many shapes and sizes. Whether you are looking for a simple design or something truly original, we would love to hear your request.

  We offer Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Caramel, Lemon, Orange, Pineapple, Red Velvet, Banana, Carrot, and more. Most cakes can be paired with a cream or fruit filling and your choice of frosting.

  Since we encourage our customers to customize their cakes, we do not have a standard price chart available. Many of the celebration cakes range from $2.25 to $3.50 per serving, but the size and décor the customer selects determines the price.

  Are you considering a Sweet Bettys creation for your wedding day? Our wedding cakes START at $3.00 for frosted cakes and $4.00 for fondant cakes. Please contact us to set up a consultation, and we will be happy to help you plan the details for your special day.

  ** All custom baked goods require a depostit or payment in full at the time of the order. If there is a remaining balance, it will be due at the time of pick-up. We understand that unforseen circumstances arise, however 7 days notice must be given for any cancellations to be considered.

  ** Wedding cakes have a seperate cancellation policy listed in the cake contract.

• Do you offer any gluten free or allergy sensitive baked goods?
• At this time we do not offer any allergen or sugar free products in our daily bakery case rotation. We do offer French Macarons (made w/almond flour) and candies that are gluten free, however we do use ingredients with gluten in our kitchen, so they can not be guaranteed.
